We have not appointed a data protection officer; we are not required to. Anything about your data goes to studio@bitcodia.com and reaches a person, not a queue.

The contact form asks for your name and e-mail. You can add a message and pick the services you are interested in. We also record which page you sent it from and which language you were reading, so the reply makes sense.

We use that to answer you and to take the steps you asked for before any contract — Article 6(1)(b) GDPR. Where you write on behalf of a company, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, Article 6(1)(f).

If you e-mail or call us directly, we process whatever you choose to put in that message.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, to keep the site running and to defend it against abuse. That is a legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f).

We set no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising and no third-party tracking on this site, so there is nothing here to consent to.

Your browser does store two things locally: the theme you picked and your reading preferences — contrast, density, motion. They stay on your device, we never receive them, and clearing your browser storage removes them.

We keep the list short. These providers process data for us, under a data processing agreement and only on our instructions. Where data reaches the United States, the transfer relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with anyone else, unless the law obliges us to.

An enquiry that does not turn into work stays with us for up to three years — long enough that we recognise you if you come back — and is then deleted.

If we do work together, the correspondence becomes part of the client record and follows the periods Czech law sets for it: five years for accounting records, ten years for tax documents.

A copy of the data we hold about you, and what we do with it.

Correction of anything inaccurate or incomplete.

A pause on processing while a dispute about it is resolved.

Portability

The data you gave us, in a machine-readable file.

Objection

To any processing we base on legitimate interest.

Tell us first — it is usually faster. You can also complain to the supervisory authority at any time, without asking us first.

We make no automated decisions about you and we do not profile you. There is no scoring, no segmentation and no algorithm deciding anything about your enquiry.

If we change how we handle data — a new tool, a new purpose — we update this page and move the date at the top. If the change is material and we hold your contact details, we will tell you directly.
